Preparation and application of polyester conductive fiber master batch
“In the field of polyester anti-static fibers, researchers used melt blending method to prepare conductive fiber masterbatch, systematically studied the influence of conductive carbon black content on the structure and properties of polybutylene terephthalate conductive masterbatch, and analyzed in detail the dispersion state of carbon black in polybutylene terephthalate matrix and its influence on the conductivity, rheological behavior, thermal stability and crystallization characteristics of masterbatch. The experimental results showed that carbon black was evenly dispersed in the polybutylene terephthalate matrix, and the apparent viscosity of the melt of the masterbatch was significantly reduced compared to pure polybutylene terephthalate; With the increase of carbon black content, the surface resistance of the masterbatch significantly decreases. Thermal analysis shows that carbon black can exert heterogeneous nucleation, promote the crystallization temperature of polybutylene terephthalate to increase, and effectively improve the thermal stability of the material. On this basis, polyester anti-static fibers were prepared by melt composite spinning process, and the effects of key process parameters such as the proportion of conductive masterbatch, setting temperature, and stretching ratio on the properties of polyester anti-static fibers were systematically investigated. The results showed that the addition of conductive masterbatch had a regulating effect on the fiber volume resistance and mechanical properties. The comprehensive testing results of anti-static and mechanical properties showed that the polyester anti-static fiber strength and anti-static performance of the composite 20% conductive masterbatch were better at a heat setting temperature of 140 ℃ and a stretching ratio of 1.4.”
