POSS-g-PPOE对PPB/POE共混体系力学性能影响

摘要:采用双螺杆反应挤出,以多面体齐聚倍半硅氧烷(POSS)为接枝反应中心,嵌段共聚聚丙烯(PPB)、聚烯烃弹性体(POE)为接枝链段,制备接枝聚合物 POSS-g-PPOE。使用傅里叶变换红外光谱和差示扫描量热(DSC)分析对接枝产物 POSS-g-PPOE 进行了表征。结果表明 ,PPB,POE 与 POSS 发生了接枝反应。将 POSS-g-PPOE 与 PPB,POE 进行共混挤出,并通过 DSC、力学性能进行分析。 从测试结果看 ,添加接枝产物 POSS-g-PPOE 后 ,可以一定程度上提高PPB/POE 体系的熔融温度和相容性能 。 PPB/POE 力学性能随着 POSS-g-PPOE 的增加先增加后降低 ,在 POSS-g-PPOE 添加质量为4% 时 ,缺口冲击强度达到峰值,为 103 kJ/m2,其他力学性能保持在较高水平 。由于 POSS-g-PPOE为大分子聚合物,当 POSS-g-PPOE 添加比例过高时 ,除了部分参与界面相容改性外,多余部分反而以杂质形式存在,导致力学性能下降。从扫描电子显微镜测试结果看,PPB 断面可以清晰地看到 PP基体中均匀分散乙丙橡胶颗粒,添加 POE后 ,断面发生脆韧转变 ,抗冲性能提高。 但由于POE本身强度较低 ,提高有限 。进一步添加 POSS-g-PPOE,PPB 中分散相核壳结构微颗粒界面模糊化 ,破坏时微颗粒被拉伸 。认为添加一定量 POSS-g-PPOE,可以提高 PPB/POE间的链段缠结,进而提高整体力学性能。 
Abstract:By reactive extrusion, with polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS) as the grafting reaction center, and poly‐ propylene block copolymer (PPB) and polyolefin elastomer (POE) as the grafting chain segments, polymer alloy POSS-g-PPOE was achieved. The grafted polymer POSS-g-PPOE was characterized by using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and differen‐ tial scanning calorimeter (DSC). POSS-g-PPOE was blended with PPB and POE, then thermal and mechanical performance were tested. The result shows that melting temperatures of PPB and POE are improved and the melting peaks are fused together. The compatibility of bending system is improved to a certain extent by adding the POSS-g-PPOE. The mechanical properties are increased first and then decreased with the increasing content of POSS-g-PPOE. When the addition of POSS-g-PPOE is 4%, notch impact strength reaches its peak at 103 kJ/m2, while other mechanical properties remain at a high level. When the addition is excessive, it can be impurities instead, which would leading to a decrease in mechanical properties for the bending system. From the results of scanning electron microscope, ethylene-propylene rubber particles are uniformly dispersed in the PP matrix on the PPB cross-section. The cross-section transition occurs from brittle to ductile when adding POE, resulting in the increase of impact resis‐ tance. But due to the low strength of POE, the improvement is limited. The addition of POSS-g-PPOE induces blur interface between dispersed microparticles and matrix in PPB, and the microparticles are stretched during failure. The addition of POSS-gPPOE in some proportion can improve the entanglement between PPB and POE chain segments, resulting the increase of the overall mechanical properties.
