In order to ensure and improve the quality of the papers published in the Engineering Plastics Application (ISSN 1001-3539, CN 37-1111/TQ), the journal strictly implements the double-blind peer review system and the three-level review system of the chief editor's first review, expert review and chief editor's final review. In order to strengthen the academic integrity construction of Engineering Plastics Application, standardize the process of paper writing, editing and publishing, and resist academic misconduct, the journal has formulated the following publication ethics code in accordance with the relevant provisions of publishing ethics at home and abroad such as the Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China and the Code of Ethics for Publishing Science and Technology Journals issued by China Association for Science and Technology, and combined with the actual situation of the journal.

Editors, authors and reviewers of Engineering Plastics Applications are required to perform the following duties and comply with the submission guidelines and other requirements of this journal.

1 The author's responsibility

(1) The paper submitted by the author should conform to the topic of the journal, and ensure the authenticity and originality of the paper. 

(2) The author must prove that the manuscript is not submitted for multiple manuscripts, repeated publication, split publication, does not involve confidentiality issues, and the author's signature and institutional labeling are not controversial. 

(3) All authors mentioned in the paper must have made significant contributions to research. 

(4) Under normal circumstances, only one corresponding author is noted in the paper. If it is a standard multi-center or multidisciplinary collaborative research, the corresponding author is indeed more than one, it can be increased as appropriate, generally not more than two. The additional corresponding authors should usually be those who are academically responsible for the different research institutions or different research groups involved in the collaborative research.

(5) The author's signature should be sorted in principle according to the size of the contribution, which should be jointly agreed by the authors of the paper and determined before submission. After the manuscript is accepted, the signature of the author and the unit shall not be changed. 

(6) Authors should declare whether there is a conflict of interest at the time of submission. If there is a conflict of interest, it should indicate all conflicts of interest, economic or non-economic, that may have an impact on the results of its research. 

(7) Authors are obliged to retract or correct errors and must report any errors found in published papers to the editorial board.

(8) If the author has any objection to the review opinions and results, he/she may submit a written statement to the editorial department to give a detailed explanation and explanation for each review opinion. 

(9) The paper submitted by the author must not involve any harm to animals or humans, or any language or experiments that violate ethics.

 

2 Editorial Responsibility

(1) Editors should treat each manuscript in a fair, impartial and objective manner. 

(2) The editor is obliged to respect the confidentiality principle, strictly protect the anonymity of reviewers, and keep the author's research and related information confidential.

(3) The editor is obliged to provide the author with detailed suggestions for revision or reasons for rejection.

(4) Editors shall not be driven by interests to interfere with peer review, and strive to ensure the independent review of peer experts to ensure the fairness and fairness of peer review.

(5) When selecting a review expert for a paper, the editor should try to avoid the same unit as the author, and should not select a signed author as the review expert for his/her manuscript.

(6) Editors should respect the author's views and writing style and should seek the author's consent before making critical changes to the paper that involve academic ideas.

 

3 Responsibility of the reviewer

(1) Reviewers should review the manuscript in a fair, impartial and objective manner.

(2) Reviewers shall keep confidential the content, author information and relevant details of the paper.

(3) For manuscripts that have conflicts of interest with the author, the reviewer shall not accept the review and shall voluntarily declare his withdrawal to the editorial department.

(4) The reviewer shall immediately notify the editorial department of any plagiarism by the author or any manuscript currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.

(5) When the reviewer finds that the author's research is similar to his own, he shall not use the reviewing convenience to suppress or belittle the author's paper.

(6) The reviewer shall review the manuscript in time according to the agreement, and inform the editorial department in time if the review fails to return on time.
