    • Preparation and properties of PVDF/XNBR blends modified by poly(methyl methacrylate-co-glycidyl methacrylate) compatibilizer

    • Experts have successfully synthesized a reactive methyl methacrylate glycidyl methacrylate copolymer (PMG) through free radical copolymerization using an environmentally friendly molten caprolactam solvent system. PMG has been used as an efficient compatibilizer for polyvinylidene fluoride/carboxylated nitrile rubber (PVDF/XNBR) blends, providing an effective reactive compatibilization and toughening strategy for the alloying modification of fluoroplastics.
